Here at the Milton Keynes Bonsai Society we are a friendly group of people all with a love of Bonsai. At meetings, we try to share our experiences with Bonsai so that we all gain in knowledge and confidence.
We try to ensure that each meeting is devoted to various practical and horticultural aspects of Bonsai. The practical session may be root pruning and re-potting in spring, tree shaping by wiring in spring or autumn, or a demonstration of a particular technique by a visiting guest speaker or an experienced member.
Members’ trees are displayed and discussed and seasonal horticultural tips are given at each meeting. Our programme also includes visits to Bonsai Nurseries. We also have a good reference library of magazines and books. Our social activities usually include a summer barbecue or picnic and a Christmas social.
Meetings are held at 7.30pm for 7.40pm on the second Monday of each month (except January & August) at:
The Reform Synagogue Hall,
1 Hainault Drive,
